Diese atemberaubend schoenen Wasserfaelle speisen sich aus dem kleinen Fluss Kalijhora und befinden sich sozusagen mitten in der Stadt.Die Wassermassen stuerzen aus einer Hoehe von 30.5 m hinunter und verschwinden in den darunterliegenden,tiefen Taelern.Das Wasser dieser Faelle wird in der Sidrapong Power Station benutzt, um Elektrizitaet zu erzeugen.Die gesamte Stromversorgung Darjeelings und der umliegenden Orte wird von diesem Elektrizitaetswerk sichergestellt.Die Sidrapong Power Station war auch das erste Wasserkraftwerk Indiens.
