Dieses Museum ist etwas ganz besonderes: hier wurde zum ersten Mal in Asien ein U-Boot in ein Museum verwandelt.Die INS Kusura stammt aus Russland, sie wurde am 18.12.1969 vom Stapel gelassen und ging am 20.02.1970 in der Baltischen See auf Jungfernfahrt.Am 11.05.1970 legte sie in Visakhapatnam an und stand von da an in den Diensten Indiens.Dieses U-Boot wurde am 27.02.2001 in ein Museum umgebaut.Vor dem Umbau wurde das Boot mit Hilfe vieler Organisationen auf den Strand gehievt.Die INS Kusura stand fuer 31 Jahre in den Diensten des indischen Verteidigungsministeriums, bevor sie in Rente ging.
