Dieser Zoo aus dem Jahr 1863 ist der aelteste in Gujarat und der drittaelteste in Indien.Der Zoo hat gute Erfolge in der Zucht von Gir-Loewen.Auf einer Flaeche von 500 acres gibt es eine Art Freigehege.Dieser Zoo wurde ins Leben gerufen, um die Ausrottung des Gir-Loewen zu stoppen.Aber auch die Leoparden und Tiger fuehlen sich hier wohl.Ein Teil des Zoos ist das Museum, in dem man viel ueber Naturgeschichte lernen kann.
