Diese Ausgrabungsstaette ist bei Archaelogen wegen ihres Reichtuns bekannt.Diese Ruinen liegen etwas westlich von Guwahati in Goalpara.Der Hinduismus hat drei Hauptausrichtungen: Shaivismus, Vaishnavismus und Shaktikult.Die Tempel dieser drei Kulte befinden sich hier und bilden eine ganz besondere Mischung.Ausserdem ist hier eine schier unendliche Anzahl von Granit- Shivalingams zu finden.Die aus Stein gehauenen Abbildungen von Shiva, und den Goettinen Manasa und Durga sind beeindruckend.Der zwoelfte Aditya, der Sonnengott, ist hier ebenfalls mit einer Vaterfigur in der Mitte abgebildet.
