Das wichtigste Zeichen der Stadt ist das historische Sitaburdi Fort, das mitten in der Stadt auf einem kleinen Hügel steht. Das Fort wurde 1857 von einem britischen Offizier gebaut. Die Büros der Landwehr sind heute hier unterbracht. An öffentlichen Feiertagen ist das Fort zur Besichtigung zugänglich.
