Der majestaetische Bangalorepalast, der heute im Privatbesitz des Maharajas von Mysore ist , -Koenig Woodeyar- wurde von dessen Vorfahren im spaeten 19. Jahrhundert gebaut.Der Grundriss ist dem Windsor Castle in Grossbrittanien nachempfunden,gothische Bogenfenster und der grosszuegige Einsatz von Holz machen das Bild komplett.Die Zinnen und Tuermchen erinnern an den Daria Daulat Palast in Srirangapatanam.Im Innern befinden sich grossartige Kunstmalereien und Schnitzereien.Bedingt durch die Privateigentuemerschaft der Monarchie sind Besuche nicht moeglich und der Palast kann nur von aussen angesehen werden.Fotografieren ist nicht erlaubt.
