ist ein von Shivaji gebautes, schwer besiegbares Bergfort, das 24 km von der bekannten Hillstation Mahabaleshwar liegt. Es hat eine sehr strategische Lage mit klarem Blick auf einen wichtigen Teil der Konkan Region (westliche Küste Indiens). Man kann von hier aus auch das Rajgad Fort sehen. Andere Sehenswürdigkeiten sind der der Göttin Bhavani gewidmeter Tempel und das Grabmal des Mogul Feldherrn Afzal Khan.
