Die Kueste Orissas weist einige der schoensten Strande der Ostkueste Indiens auf.Einer dieser Straende ist Paradeep Beach.Die Straende an der Ostkueste Indiens sind wunderschoen, allerdings werden sie manchmal von Zyklonen heimgesucht.So ein Zyklon zerstoerte grosse Teile dieses Landstriches im Jahr 1999.Man began, wiederaufzubauen, und heute ist der hiesige Hafen einer der modernsten des Landes.Der Name Paradeep stammt vom lokalen Ausdruck Paradweep (Insel), der Name ist zutreffend, da dieser Ort eine Insel ist.Diese Insel liegt im maechtigen Fluss Mahanadi und hat immergruene Waelder und Fluesschen und natuerlich einen wunderschoenen Strand.
