( 65 km von Tirupati) In dieser Kleinstadt befindet sich der beruehmte Sri Vedanarayana Swamy Tempel.Dieser Gott ist ebenfalls eine Inkarnation des Gottes Vishnu, hier hat das Idol die Form eines Matsya oder Fisch, in der Gesellschaft von Sri Devi und Bhu Devi.Dieser wunderschoene Tempel wurde vom Vijayanagar Koenig Sri Krishna Devaraja nach den Wuenschen seiner Mutter erbaut und stellt ein besonders gelungenes Beispiel der Baukunst zu dieser Zeit dar.Eine Besonderheit dieses Tempels ist auch die Anebtung der Sonne: der Tempel wurde so gebaut, dass die Sonnenstrahlen im Maerz durch den Gopuram fuer drei Tage auf das Idol fallen.
