Jahrhundert errichtet worden ist.Es befindet sic him Osten der Stadt und es wird behauptet, dass es unterirdische Kanaele gibt, die das Reservoir mit dem Fluss Vaigai verbinden.Es gibt ein mandapam, mit einem Abbild Vinayakas, dem Elefantengott,welches sich mitten im Reservoir befindet und waehrend des Flossfestivals wunderschoen beleuchtet wird.Das Festival findet zwischen dem 15. Januar und dem 15. Februar statt, und zwar im Tamil Monat Thai, in einer Vollmondnacht.
