Dieses kleine Fischerdorf an den Backwaters ist nicht weit von der Landeshauptstadt Thirunvanathaputam entfernt.Hier gibt es einen bezaubernden Strand mit nicht viel mehr als Sonne, Sand und im Wind schwingenden Kokosnuesse.Ausser den hier Einheimischen Fischern kommt eigentlich niemand an diesen Strand, hier kann man sich an der Natur ohne Ablenkungen erfreuen.Sand und Wasser sind sogut wie unberuehrt, der Strand ist in Privatbesitz und deswegen sauber.Wenn man einen Eindruck vom einfachen Leben in Kerala bekommen moechte, ist man hier genau richtig.
