( 47 km von Tirunelveli)Dieses Naturschutzgebiet in den Western Ghats beansprucht eine Flaeche von 223 qkm und dehnt sich von den Papanasam Huegeln bis nach Kalkad aus.Hier kann man Laguren, Nilgiri Thars, Sambars, Baeren, Tiger, Fliegende Eichhoernchen,Panther, Wildhunde und Elefanten erblicken.Ausserdem eine grosse Vielfalt an Voegeln und Reptilien.Wenn man wandern moechte, muss man sich im Vorfeld eine Genehmigung vom Forest (Wildlife) Department besorgen.Im Forest Rest House kann man uebernachten.Die beste Reisezeit ist von September bis Maerz.
