Jageshwar und Bageshwar sind bekannt für ihre uralten legendären Shiva Tempel. Beide liegen ein Bisschen weit entfernt von Almora und von einander: Jageshwar ist 38 km und Bageshwar etwa 75 km von der Stadt. Bageshwar liegt am Zusammenfluss der Flüsse Sarayu und Gomti. Der alte Tempel zieht Pilger an, besonders im Januar zum heiligen Fest Makar Sankranti.
Baijanath und Gananath sind weitere Attraktionen, die man von Almora aus besuchen kann.
