Description:
Gondhla, das größte Dorf im Tal, liegt 18 km von Keylong, am rechten Ufer des Chandra Flusses, 3160 m über Meereshöhe. Der Ort ist bekannt für die Thakurs, die Kaste der Vorsitzenden der Gemeinde, und für ihre alte Residenz, die seit circa 1700 u.Z. besteht und heute noch bewohnt ist. Gebaut wurde sie von Raja Man Singh, der eine Tochter der Thakurs heiratete, um diese Region seinem Königsreich anzufügen.
