Description:
Das Gelände des Central Museum ist eine Mischung von Säulen, Bögen und Höfen, die mit Wandgemälden geschmückt sind. Das Museum, oder Albert Hall, liegt im Ram Niwas Garten. Das Gebäude wurde unter der Aufsicht von dem britischen Militäroffizier Lt. Swinton Jacob gebaut. Der damalige König von Jaipur, Mahraja Ram Singh, wollte das Gebäude zu seiner Stadthalle machen, aber sein Nachfolger wandelte es in ein Museum für die Stadt Jaipur um.
Eine interessante Darstellung des Dorflebens von Rajasthan sieht man ebenfalls hier. Das Museum beinhaltet eine große Sammlung von Metallkunst, Schmuck, Textilien und Gravuren aus Elfenbein. Außerdem gibt es geprägte seltene Kupfertöpfe. Dieses Museum hat zusätzlich auch eine Sammlung von Töpferstücken, außer den Skulpturen und Malereien.
