Dies ist der einzige Tempel in Indien, in dem Brahma – nach der Hindu Mythologie der Schöpfer des Universums – angebetet wird. Deshalb ist er auch einer der wichtigen Hindu Wallfahrtsorte. Das Pushkar Tal mit seiner atemberaubenden natürlichen Schönheit liegt hinter dem Nagpahar und dem Anasagar See. Laut Legende hat Lord Brahma hier mit anderen Göttern ein Yadnya (ein Feuer-Opfer-Ritual) durchgeführt. Dieser Brahma Tempel ist aus Marmor gebaut, mit Silbermünzen geschmückt und hat eine silberne Schildkröte auf dem Boden. Außerdem hat er eine rote Turmspitze und eine Gans, ein Glückszeichen Brahmas.
