10 km von Ludhiana liegt Alamgir, wo das Gurudwara Manji Sahib steht. Es wird gesagt, dass die zwei moslemischen Anhänger, die dem Guru geholfen hatten, das Bettchen, in dem der Guru getragen wurde, eine Weile hier niederlegten. In der Nähe des Gurudwaras gibt es einen 3 m tiefen Wassertank. Der Legende nach war dieses ein Stück ausgedörrtes Land. Aber Guru Gobind Singh schoß einen Pfeil in den Boden und Wasser quoll hervor.
