Dieses Bauwerk ist von grosser Wichtigkeit fuer die Stadt Pune.Es befindet sich in 2 km Entfernung von Bund Garden in Yerwada.Der Palast besteht aus italienischem Boegen und besitzt ausgedehnte Rasenflaechen.Bis 1970 befand er sich in Privatbesitz und wurde dann dem Land uebergeben.Von besonderer Wichtigkeit ist die Tatsache, dass Mahatma Gandhi und dessen Frau hier von den Briten eingekerkert worden sind.Kasturba Gandhi schied hier aus dem Leben und im hinteren Teil des gartens findet man ihre Grabstaette.
